Hearts Entwined: The Love Knot

by Karen Witemeyer51l747pg64L._SY346_

Ok, so this whole book isn’t officially by Karen Witemeyer, but this review is specific to The Love Knot. Just to specify, the other authors that contributed are absolutely recommended by me as well. ❤

51+6E5Az98LKaren is one of the ladies that really got me into reading. I’m a huge fan and have always enjoyed her writing. In this novella, we once again visit the all ladies colony of Harper’s Station, Texas. (You first read about this in No Other Will Do.) Claire is living in Harper’s Station when she receives a cryptic letter from her sister telling her to go to the train station to pick up something important. When she arrives, she realizes quickly that her whole life is about to change.

What’s not to love about this story? It’s well written and a beautiful story. Please be sure to pick up a copy! Also, read the others novellas included. I promise you will love these ladies if Turn of the Century West is your thing. If it’s not, it might soon be!

You can also learn a little more about Karen in our fun face-off. She’s amazing! 🙂

The Heir of Brownlie Manor

by Anita Stansfield

Ahhh…Regency novels. You know I love it! (Well, ALMOST Regency. 1808 is close enough)

Anita is a new author to me and I was pleasantly surprised. This book is from the point of view of both Thomas and Ruth. They are heavy thinkers and a considerable amount of their thoughts are written. That was a little difficult to me as I like to get to the point of things, but, overall, it was really well written.

Thomas has been raised by aristocratic parents that have trained him to treat others well and not to follow the snobbery of their peers. When he comes along a girl that is in desperate need, he can not help himself but reach out to her and become her savior. What he doesn’t fully expect is that she became his.

This is a really sweet book with characters that are probably nicer than anyone you will ever meet in real life! haha. It’s a beautiful love story with some surprising twists and intrigues. I definitely recommend!!!

Thank you for this great book in exchange for my review. As always, this is my honest opinion. Here’s to many more!!

This is the coolest blog post I have ever written and I am about to tell you why! I love love love movies and tv shows as much as I love books. Yes, it is true! However, there always seems to be  a re-occurring problem that I run into.

I have a different moral code than the Hollywood producers. Imagine that.

So, now what? My friends are always telling me about these amazing tv shows and movies that I am dying to see, but don’t feel like it is appropriate viewing with nudity and vulgarity. I mean, who here hasn’t been dying to try Game of Thrones or Outlander???? If you have refrained for the same reasons, I am here to tell you that your wait is officially over!!!!

Processed with VSCOcam with a5 preset I found this awesome site and have been using it to the past week to be sure that it works appropriately. I am pleased to say, “IT IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!”

You can watch ALL the new releases (**edited**) for cheaper than Redbox AND from the comfort of your recliner. Here is how it works:
