by Sarah M. Eden
Seriously, how many times can I say how much I adore Sarah M. Eden? Simply put: I haven’t read a bad one by her yet!
This time, we get a bit of Regency PTSD. This is long before there was a name for it and the men had to just move forward with no help. Their wives, or the women in their lives, had no idea what they were dealing with and nobody spoke of it. I can’t even imagine. I am really glad that she decided to write on this topic!
Sarah continues on with the saga of Jonquil brothers that we all know and love. This time, the focus is on Captain Stanley Jonquil. Of course you are going to love the characters. They are always written with depth and wonderful character. Make sure you pick up a copy of this great read!!!
Thanks so much for this great book in exchange for my thoughts. As always, this is my honest opinion. Here’s to many more!!
Plain Jane. That’s all she’ll ever be.
At least…that’s what she’s been told her whole life! How do you compare when your oldest sister married THE Duke and your next sister was the beautiful belle of her season? As third in line, it’s quite difficult to “come up to scratch”. Especially when you are as shy as Daphne.
As usual, Sarah M. Eden had me swept away in Regency England. Her characters are the perfect mix of depth and lightheartedness. The stories always keep me flipping pages to see what will happen next. I could not recommend this author more. She’s in my top 3 favorite ❤
Be sure to check out the stories of her older sisters too!!

Oh how I love Sarah! She’s always been at the top of my (theoretical) Best Regency Author list. Her books are so sweet and just…lovely!
A Fine Gentleman is her new and much anticipated release! It is the latest in the story of the Jonquil brothers. Jason Jonquil, the barrister, is orderly and in control…that is, until Mariposa Thornton walks into his life and turns it totally upside down.
Like every other amazing book this lady writes, it grabs your attention and keeps you flipping the page. Her characters are witty, yet hold a deepness about them that makes you want to continue to explore them and their story.
As you can tell, I definitely recommend this book and anything else Sarah M. Eden writes. You won’t be disappointed. You can also check out our fun face-off and learn a little more about this fabulous author.
