if you find this Letter: One Girl’s Journey to Find Purpose Through Hundreds of Letters to Strangers ~ a memoir

by Hannah Brencher

When I first started this book, I was really nervous. I wasn’t sure what direction it was going to take. Hannah is telling about her move to NY, her uncertainty about God and her feeling lost and alone in the world. Coming off of another book that started of similarly, and went completely in a very anti-God direction, you can imagine my concern. However, I was pleasantly surprised!

Hannah was living in NY and felt very much alone because she didn’t know what God really wanted for her life. She would ride the subway and see people hurting and knew that they didn’t have anyone loving on them. So, one day, she was inspired to write a letter to a lady sitting across from her and give it to her as she left. When she looked up, the lady was gone. Instead of missing her chance, she began leaving “love notes” around the city. She began blogging about the idea and requests came pouring in. People desperately needing loved and having no one. So, she started answering and mailing letters to those that asked

She also began crying out to God so that He would reveal Himself to her. Of course, when we seek, He answers. It is such a beautiful story. She learns to run to God, love on people and inspire others to do the same. It’s exactly what God has called us to do.

Her idea has gone global. People all over are sending and receiving notes from her and others that want to do the same. You can get involved too!! The link to her site is in the pic here. Please check it out! It is an absolutely wonderful and brilliant way to love on others and show Jesus to them. ❤

Thank you, netgalley, for this awesome read! As always, this is my honest opinion. Here’s to many more!!
