As you know, I am a huge MaryLu fan. Her stories are fun and exciting. This one took me a bit by surprise. Morgan has been diagnosed with cancer and only has a few months to live. In a surprising twist, she ends up back in time on a pirate ship called The Reckoning. It’s here that she finds herself and the things that are important in life.

MaryLu’s books are always well written. I thought this was a little out of my comfort zone because I wasn’t expecting a fantasy type book. If I had known that going in, I would have probably thoroughly enjoyed it! The characters were wonderful. The story had plenty of action and depth. Overall, a great read.
