Amelia lets him be himself and does not look down on him for the PTSD he is suffering from the horrors of war.

This is such a wonderful read! I love Regency novels, first and foremost. This is well written and the author has a decent knowledge of the time period. Of course, a lot of the language is more modern, but the heart of the story is there. It’s well written, holds my attention and makes me love the characters. I highly recommend!
