This is the first book by Irene that I have read. While it seemed to drag in some parts, overall I really enjoyed it. The plot was interesting and held my attention. I felt like a lot of “scenes” were much longer than they needed to be, but some people really enjoy that and I am taking that into account. The characters were interesting and stayed true to their character as the story progressed. There were plenty of twists in the story and suspense throughout. A solid 4 stars.
