Book 1 in the Brides with Style series is about as pink and girly as that cover!! Cosmopolitan Bride is offering to make the wedding dress of a future bride’s dreams. Katie Fisher wins the contest. Only problem? She is not engaged. In fact, she’s quite single!! Of course, there’s another man with whom she becomes acquainted with…Will he be the one?

I have to be honest. This book is well written, but it is not for me. I felt like the scenes were dragging on and on. I don’t like to hear every detail of a conversation, what everyone is wearing (make-up included) and what the room looks like. Some people really enjoy that, but I don’t. I also felt like I was going to choke in southern quips. (One of the main characters is named Lori-Lou??) As far as the storyline, writing, and characters, she did well. It was not badly written, just not my flavor. I give it 4 stars.
