Abandoned Memories

by MaryLu Tyndall

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12

Breathtaking. Suspenseful. Terrifying. Beautiful.

There are so many words to describe this book. You know when a book sticks with you? After you read it, you think on it and think on it? That is what this series will do to you.

Abandoned Memories is the third book in the Escape From Paradise series and it is a WHOPPER! Through the series, we get to know a bunch of colonists that left America after the Civil War. They all left for different reasons, but they basically wanted to start a “new south” in Brazil. The cool part? All of this is true! It was the only recorded exodus in the history of America. You should check out this article to find out more about it!!! (Link is in the pic)

In this final installment, the battle with the forces of evil in their town has escalated and they must seek God to fight it. We also get to FINALLY see Angeline’s and James’ stories. They were my favorite from the start!! This book is NOT for the weak of heart. It is surely going to open your eyes to the battle we don’t see. It is a beautiful story of grace and redemption. I wish I could give it 10 stars!! (Looky there! I just did!!).

Bravo, MaryLu! As always, you have given me a book I really enjoy. However, you went above and beyond this time. *still trying to catch my breath*
