by Christine Johnson This book may look pretty on the outside, but hold onto your seat! You won’t have a minute to breath from the first page to the last!! Elizabeth is heading back home to Key West and is ready to face life as it is now. Her mother just died, her father expects her to marry a man she can’t stand to be around, and her brother is crippled because of a whim she had that put them in danger. All this while she holds onto her love for Rourke, a Godly and gentlemanly captain that she has loved for years.
The characters are wonderfully written. (Warning: You will fall madly in love with Rourke!) God and spiritual matters are throughout the book. It is also very rich in history. There are many life changing decisions that are tackled while leading you to the perfectly wrapped-up ending. For those that love a fairy tale ending, you will love it! Some may find it a bit too tidy. Either way, it’s a great story with a lot to offer.
Thank you, Revell, for this great book! As always, this is my honest opinion. Here’s to many more!!
One response to “Love’s Rescue”
[…] When I went on vacation this year, I read Love’s Rescue in the first couple of days. (I usually nap… so, that’s saying something!!) Loved it. You can check out my review HERE! […]
